Christie Groot RN
Christie is an independent RN offering breastfeeding and lactation support at Her Optimal Health. She is a BScN graduate of Western University. Christie has also completed the LEAARC approved Breastfeeding certificate from Mohawk college. Christie is a passionate labour and delivery nurse who initially became interested in breastfeeding education and support after she gave birth to her first child and needed a support network to help make informed decisions around feeding.
Christie is passionate about providing education and resources to families to help them make informed decisions to meet their unique feeding goals. She approaches challenges with a gentle curiosity and provides a safe non-judgemental space to ask questions.
When she is not working she enjoys playing at the park with her two small children, walking her giant dog, or hiking the local trails with her husband. She is excited to be joining our team of health and wellness providers.

Tiffany Soetemans RDH, CBS
Tiffany Soetemans is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. She is a graduate of Fanshawe Colleges Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene program. She completed her lactation training through Lactation Education Resources.
Tiffany's passion for helping breast/ chestfeeding families was sparked after the birth of her first child. They experienced many challenges along the way that she didn't feel prepared for. Something that she assumed would come 'natural' and 'easy' did not. With support from a wonderful lactation consultant she was put on the right track and she started educating herself on how to support families. Fast forward to the birth of her second child she faced more challenges one of which were multiple tethered oral tissues (or tongue and lip ties). This sparked a desire to learn all she could about tongue and lip ties. This also tied (pun intended) her love for lactation with her love of the dental world. She currently assists a wonderful dentist with frenectomies, where she also works as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Tiffany always aims to provide a safe, comfortable place for you to work together on your concerns. She wants to educate and empower new and seasoned parents with their breast/chestfeeding journeys and will always be your biggest cheerleader. You can count on her to lift you up and support you during those challenging times and help you reach your breastfeeding goals.

Amanda Fawcett BScN, RN, IBCLC
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) through the collaborative program at Lambton College and the University of Windsor in 2011. Since then, she has provided care in acute care hospital settings, with the majority in the Emergency Department. Over the years, what began as a personal passion for infant feeding support grew into a professional calling, leading her to pursue additional training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). This ensures she is upheld to the highest standard of care, ensuring the care you receive is evidence-based and tailored to meet your unique needs.
Through her training, informal peer support and work as a public health nurse, she has had the privilege of offering hands-on lactation support to many families in London and the surrounding communities. For some families, this meant support with the basics of breast/chest feeding, while for others, it involved more complex challenges—such as navigating medical concerns.
Like many IBCLCs, her journey began with her own feeding challenges—from tethered oral tissues (aka tongue and lip ties), supply concerns, and even the process of weaning. She has also experienced the unique journey of exclusive pumping. She exclusively pumped for her surrogate baby, born in 2020. (Yes—fun fact—she was a surrogate!) These experiences shaped her passion for helping others navigate their own feeding journeys with empathy and support.
Amanda is non-judgmental, and committed to supporting all feeding goals —whether that’s exclusively breast/chest feeding, pumping, mixed feeding, or anything in between.
Your goals are her goals, and she is here to help you reach them!
