Pelvic health physiotherapy is the comprehensive assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor and its role in your health. Pelvic floor dysfunctions can present in many different ways, including pain, weakness, and timing difficulties. Depending on symptoms and goals of each client, it may include an internal assessment with vaginal and or rectal palpation. This can assess the timing, strength, tension, and power of your pelvic floor muscles.

Therapy
Most people access therapy because they are feeling distressed, they are at a “stuck point” in their own lives, or they are seeking personal growth. It can be a safe place for you to express emotions and discuss difficult experiences that you may have faced in the past. Therapy can help you gain a greater awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, develop healthier relationships, and find new ways of coping with challenges.
Prenatal and Postpartum Care
Prenatal Care with Julie
Childbirth Education includes all things pre and postnatal. With this you can expect to learn what you need to know to make decisions about your birth critically and confidently. We cover coping with the stress of birth, physiology, stages of labour, pushing and what to expect of the first few week after birth for your and your newborn.
Labour support for your birth is a full support service: private prenatal education and birth planning, hands on support for your labour, birth and a postpartum visit. Julie provides you with all the tools you need to feel confident, knowledgeable and supported.
Postnatal Care with Tami
Postpartum Support for after your birth. This could look like assistance with breast feeding, caring for your baby while you shower, eat, rest, etc. and/or just being a listening ear when you need it most.
Breastfeeding & Lactation Support
Feeding your baby is a journey—one that can bring joy, questions, and sometimes unexpected challenges. While breastfeeding or chest feeding is often seen as something that should come naturally, the truth is, it doesn’t always feel that way for everyone. That’s okay, you don’t have to do it alone.
Whether you’re just getting started and looking for reassurance and encouragement, or facing more complex feeding challenges, we’re here to help.
During our visits, we take the time to understand both your baby’s health and your own. This includes a full review of the infant’s health history and the health history of the lactating parent or the parent planning to lactate. Our assessments and support consider not just the physical aspects of feeding, but also the emotional experience—because both matter! Together, we’ll blend our knowledge and expertise with your goals and preferences to create a care plan that feels right for you.
