Bailey Grogan

Counsellor
Bailey comes to Her Optimal Health with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western University and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has experience providing mental health services within a variety of areas including inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, and community agencies. Bailey is passionate about supporting women’s mental health across all life stages. Her therapeutic approach draws upon evidenced-based treatments including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. By incorporating mindfulness strategies into her practice, Bailey aims to provide clients with the tools to increase self-awareness, resiliency, and overall mental wellness. Bailey’s clinical interests include, but are not limited to, working with women experiencing eating disorders, poor self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She is a firm believer that we are the experts of our own lives, bodies, and needs. This is reflected in her trauma-informed and client-centered approach.
